A recent patch to One plus X caused this issue of Google Play Store crashing very often.
This happens each time you try to open an already installed App or browse through the App after it opens.
A dialog pops up with the error as "Unfortunately, Google Play Store Stopped working"
It becomes very irritating as you will have to close the dialog box every time this happens.
And the sad part of it is you wont be able to install anything from the Google Play Store, as the App itself wont open or & even if you install it from the browser the App wont install on your phone.
Luckily there is a fix for it and I had to play around with a lot of trial and error methods before getting there.
There is no need to uninstall any of the Apps that you previously installed suspecting it might have caused this issue.
Fix
Go to Settings - Apps - Google+ & disable the App
Reboot your phone and you wont see this issue anymore.Â
